BJ’s Private Label Wines

Westborough, Massachusetts-based BJ’s, which operates membership warehouse clubs on the East Coast, has released five wines from its private label brand, Wellsley Farms. The new releases include Argentinian Malbec Gran Seleccion, Italian Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry, Italian Pinot Grigio Delle Venezie, Californian Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles, and a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The label starts at $7 a 750-ml. and is only available from BJ’s outlets, which are located in 16 states from Maine to Florida.

New Cavit

Palm Bay International’s Italian brand Cavit has added a new wine to its lineup. Made with a blend of red grapes sourced from northeastern Italy, Cavit Sweet Red is now available nationwide for a retail price of $10 a 750-ml. or $15 a 1.5-liter. Cavit is the No.-1 Italian brand by volume in the U.S., according to Impact Databank, depleting nearly 3.5 million cases in 2018.
