“We know many drinkers want something other than traditional varietal wines, which inspired us to create Woodbridge Wine Sodas to provide consumers with a new way to experience and enjoy wine that is less formal and more fun,” said Woodbridge brand vice president Serena Shrivastava. Billed as having a “flavor-dominant, wine-recessive profile,” the new range is expected to compete against hard seltzers and ultimately bring new consumers into the wine category. Woodbridge Wine Sodas are debuting nationwide in variety six-packs of 250-ml. cans retailing at $11-$13.

New 1000 Stories

1000 Stories, part of the Concha y Toro-owned Fetzer Vineyards portfolio, is debuting two new wines aged in virgin American oak, American Barrel-Aged Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Retailing at $20 a 750-ml., the two new offerings will roll out in August and October respectively. With the new products, 1000 Stories is also introducing updated packaging across its range, shipping to retailers nationwide in October. Additionally, 1000 Stories has appointed winemaker Sebastian Donoso to lead its winemaking operations. Donoso takes over for founding winemaker Bob Blue, who retired in June.
