New Two Chicks

  • Las Vegas-based Two Chicks Cocktails is extending with two new expressions, Cranberry Tartini and Sparkling Lemon Strawberry Kiss. Retailing at $16 a four-pack of 12-ounce cans, the new entries join Citrus Margarita, Vodka Fizz, Apple Gimlet, Paloma, and others in the Two Chicks range, which is at 5% abv and has less than 100 calories a can. Two Chicks is present at retailers including Walgreens, Walmart, CVS (Midwest), Meijer, Cost Plus World Market, BevMo, and Total Wine & More among others. Two Chicks reached 105,000 9-liter cases last year, according to Impact Databank, up from 17,000 cases a year earlier.

New Benovia Cab

Russian River Valley-based Benovia Winery, known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, is introducing its first Cabernet Sauvignon offerings. They include a Cooley Vineyard Cabernet from northern Sonoma County ($100), and an Oakville Cabernet ($125) from the Napa Valley. Both are small-production wines, like Benovia’s single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottlings, which are allocated directly to consumers and distributed to select restaurants around the country.
